I'm certainly not a business expert, but after a LOT of trail and error, there are things I wish I could go back and tell myself when I was just starting out.
This wish sparked the idea for the Small Business Bootcamp series! Starting next week, I'll be sharing some tactical tips I wish I could have implemented when I registered Leah Yard Designs in 2013.

If you're like me, visualizing your progress helps you take action. But what if you're visualizing the wrong way?
When it comes to "stepping outside your comfort zone" I envisioned stepping over a boundary to do something scary, and then stepping back. But that's not exactly how it works, and visualizing it that way was making it harder for me to seek out uncomfortable things.
