I thought confidence was something you were either born with, or without.
I grew up around a lot of "outwardly confident" people who were intimidating, overbearing, and aggressive.
For years, this is what I thought confidence was.
But the catch is this: confidence is personal.
You want to feel secure in yourself, powerful, and resilient? There is only ONE relationship in the world that will help you get there: the one with yourself.

I read the books, I listen to the podcasts, I do the affirmations. But I still struggle to get fully on the "Woo Woo" train.I grew up in a very practical family. Logic beat out feelings every time. This ingrained a distrust in my intuition. I really struggle to listen and honour my gut feelings.

Tyra shares her goals for helping the unhoused population in Vancouver's DTES, as well as some major misconceptions about the area.

We provide practical support, basic necessities and hot nutritious meals to over 1000 women and children every day.
